Fair draws, public randomness. Every draw uses public randomness that only exists after entries close — so no one, including us, can know or influence the result in advance. Completed draws publish their evidence, so anyone can independently re-check the winner.
When entries close, the winning ticket is picked at random from every valid entry — paid and free postal entries alike, each with an equal chance. Every result is published on our Draw Results page.
No — watching is optional. If you win, we'll contact you, normally by phone first and otherwise by email, and the result is published on Draw Results.
We'll contact you to verify your identity (normally a passport or driving licence) and arrange your prize. Please reply within 7 days of our first contact and complete verification within 14 days of our request.
Yes. Once you are confirmed as the winner you can choose the prize or the £170.00 cash alternative, paid by UK bank transfer to an account in your verified name.
Every competition has a free postal entry route with exactly the same chance of winning as a paid entry. You need an Essential Comps account, one entry per envelope, and it must arrive by 12:00 midday on the day before the competition closes. Full rules are in our Terms & Conditions.
